hesk, a question for you

Hey Hesk. In two recent posts you said the following:

"word is that Roche will not be extending their collaberation..."

And then, in response to a question on it, you said the following:

"I have a reasonable position in this stock, so I have taken the time to talk to people about it. This was a common thread from a few different sources."

Ok, so I need to put the question out there: how do you know information- also known as "word"- that Roche will not be extending? Surely this is information that, if some people "know", then all of us should know. If it is a "common thread from a few different sources", then people could be trading on this non-public information, and be done for insider trading. If it is a mere rumour, and people are trading on it, then it is costing me money.

I am concerned about this. I just happened to glance at/come across your posts, but I may not have. This is the point about public info- we all check ASX ANN's, but we don't all check HC posts.

What if I sell, and you and your sources are wrong? What if I buy and your sources are right?

I will be contacting the company on Monday and asking them to make a a statement regarding this. I imagine if they respond to the ASX, they will do so as many other companies have done so, and say, "The company is aware that comment has been made with regard to Phylogica's ongoing relationship with Roche. Phylogica is unaware of any changer in their ongoing relationship with Roche and will update the market if there is any new information." On the contrary side, Phylogica could say, "Blah blah, information blah blah. Phylogica has had discussions with Roche and can confirm that the collaboration will not continue after blah blah date."

I want *some/any* statement put out to market. I am raising this now, as again, we got smashed today. What if I had spoken to the same people you spoke to, and just sold when the share price was healthier and said nothing? Who knows about this, specifically?
