I'd like to know where Hesk gets the "word" from aswell ?
As i posted earlier though IMO the Roche collaboration is not clear cut & may of either been discontinued or be in jepoardy, but of course that is only my opinion & based on the points i made earlier HERE.
Firstly i was expecting outcomes before end of 2011 ? but of course in this line of bussiness it is not uncommon for lengths of time to be extended far further than common expectation.
Secondly the FinanceNetwork interview (which is largely scripted & paid for ?) by the company in focus after addressing the recent J&J/Jansssen deal being reached then went on to touch all of the other collaborations (well almost) Mediimune/AZ & Pfizer - but not a single reference to Roche ? ?
Thirdly from what i recall although i didn't hold stock this far back the J&J agreement reached in 2006 was never officialy put to market after it ended ? ? remained ingrained on the companys website for a long period after it ended ? ? even this forum with long term holders didn't really seem too clear on what had happened, i guess it was assumed based on no news flow for a long period that it had ended but it was still always questionable - maybe / maybe not ?
Anyway though the company has largely changed over this period based on both the position the company sits with it's IP & tech on hand, the number of big pharma partners & i guess most importantly the structure of the bussiness model. Lets face it even if Roche did work on the company is not really in position to pay much of a price & this is the reason the bussiness model has been put in place to derisk the companies progress if 1 is unsuccesful there's still another 3 standing behind it & at this point with a market cap of $17M, $5M cash in bank & 4 (or even in a worst case scenario 3) of the worlds top 5 pharmaceutical companies in bed do you really see much tangible downside even on bad outcomes to it's $12M value once cash is removed ?
Let's hope Roche suprises it's just been questionable for a while in my opinion aswell so really (maybe wrongly so) i have removed it from my outlook into the future. Big fan of suprises though :-) :-)
