It is good to have a rough idea of APAS’s market size and potential.

The machines don’t seem to cost much initially (assuming the Monsoon?? data you quote is correct) – ie, they will sell for $50,000 to 200,000 each. Possibly one or two lab technicians’ annual salaries would cover a machine.

You would assume the vast majority of ‘large labs’ (around 12,500 of them globally) would want one. APAS will not just save on labour costs, but also increase speed and accuracy. An APAS machine should pay for itself in no time. If there are no competitors, we should capture the market quickly, just like PREVI Isola has done.

Does anyone know if there will be any ongoing servicing costs, licensing agreements, software upgrades, or ongoing disposable parts required that will form a continuing revenue stream for an APAS machine once it is sold?
