Hi Guys,
I once did some back of envelope calcs, and concluded that heat inflow into the mass from which heat is being extracted is negligible compared to the rate at which you are trying to extract it, hence replenishment is an irrelevancy on a human time scale.
Obviously if the HEWI was a thin pancake the above argument would fail, but then presumably they would not select a HEWI that had insufficient longevity?
Still a lot of subsurface risks on all these hot rock plays imo, hence I only have a very small position in PTR (and only PTR atm).
