kellygirl, I used to play soccer at school we had thick shin pads on under the socks as they do now. I never saw one player back then rolling on the ground in agony after being kicked in the shins. they do it all the time now, cry like babies. I guess players these days have weak shins or they're being kicked harder, OR they've been to acting classes.
