roleyman - specs are great - as long as they don't distract me from looking at the real stocks - and I gotta admit that did happen for a while, but now back on track.
As far as not wanting the market to fall - well that depends on the stocks that we hold and where we measure our profits. I don't value my portfolio at the current share price of each stock I own - rather I value it at the 26 week ema price of each stock (or 50 week ema if my stock price is below the 26 week ema) as I expect the stock to retrace there multiple times - as the 26/50 week ema rises so does my calculated portfolio value. That way I welcome corrections based on the assumption I am in the right stocks for the medium term and that I have some cash to put to work on stocks already identified in such a correction. Also - it stops knee jerk reactions on selling out to soon in panic on a retrace when it is just a pullback in an uptrend with plenty more left in it.
