By not paying a $0.37 dividend the share price is down around $2.00. Investors not only lose the div but lose on share price.
As @ainsleym points out any potential CR will now need to be done cheaper. Personally I don’t buy for dividends but think they would have been better off to just pay it and avoid the damage.
