I have been in YAL for some time, so any purchase I make is not my first purchase. Bailed at $5.86 on the zero divvy debacle, will possibly re-enter when sub $5 but will hold off to see if a CR materializes ( likely for a full Anglo bid) which at the current share price is going to be under $5. You asked what divvy should I have expected with a $6+ share price, my answer is 50-60 cents per annum plus the franking credits. I would not necessarily apply a similar 10-12% divvy yield to other stocks, but when you have NPAT cash cow machine like YAL, with 1.5billion in the bank, no debt, plus huge quartery profits that they are pulling in even at current coal prices then, yeh, I would expect a 10-12% divvy yield, fully franked.
