I acknowledge I broke the rules.
Not that the AFG model may not work or that is current position may or may not be dire. If external forces wished to rescue AFG they would. However, given AFG has so many positive elements, the outsiders want those elements.
However, I have always avoided debt ridden companies. including MBL.
AFG was cheap and we bought.
Even if it survives, it is a BIG lesson.
If not, a bigger lesson.
