yep, I used to have a few wines with Pierpont at Diggers each year and also at Haoma AGM’s. I’d like to think that one conversation in Melbourne in late 2011 or 2012 triggered that very article, as I was doing some Ravenswood stuff for Uncle Gary at the time and the Charlie’s Trousers Civic Club had many entertaining tales of the antics of the Lynch Mob. Sadly, Mr Sykes hung up the quill. A most entertaining character and always good company.
