We are funding 'diversity' so I hope it works out.

Help is on its way to the most vulnerable people affected by COVID-19, with the NSW Government providing over $6 million for our multicultural communities including migrants and temporary visa holders.

If you live in NSW and are part of a community or cultural group you can apply for grants through the Multicultural NSW Celebrating Diversity Grants Program. Funding of up to $10,000 is available out of a total pool of $800,000. Multicultural NSW “promotes community harmony while celebrating cultural diversity as an important part of NSW life” and is open to all cultural groups and communities.

New South Wales is home to over 200 language groups and the state’s Premier, Gladys Berejiklian is herself of Armenian heritage.

That's 200 language groups. Let me assure you that in those countries that those people come from Australia Day is celebrated with enthusiasm. For instance in Botswana on the 26th January each year Waltzing Matilda is played all day. The **orone‎ radio station belts it out ad nauseam with the result being that the DJ has received threats to his physical well-being. And it's the same in Tierra del Fuego. On the 26th January each year a pub crawl starts at 8am and goes all day and then into the night. The day usually ends with a pub fight. Overseas countries just love celebrating Australia Day and they pour heaps of dosh into it to guarantee its success.

Lunacy dressed in the carapace of diversity is the way forward.
