re: hey relax guys...er, how relaxed are you?
Folks,
Some stacatto postings on RRS reek of wishful thinking and hardly tend to bolster shareholder confidence.
It seems almost as though a wavering few are trying to convince themselves that a prospective energy stock is worthwhile to hold.
The market is generally down, influenced by global conditions, and one must expect an wannabe oil minnow (as RRS is at the moment) to be affected too. If it were producing oil that would be a different matter.
Those who wish to depart from the share register will do so because of their own circum stances; why should others get the wind up and follow then, like sheep, for the exit if some of us can afford the risk in return for the possible reward?
IF the oil is there (which is yet to be proved) and IF RRS holds on to the deal, (par for the course when dealing in Africa) the stock will be worth many times .039 cents.
And holders will reap the benefit. That's what their risk/reward decision was all about.
And, IF NOT? Well, hedge your bets. Try the options. Head for the door short term, or long, or for ever........but don't waste time vacillating.
Making no decision at all in such a case can be far worse than making a bad decision.
Speaking for myself, I have made a decision to hold my position and average down as the opportunity arises.
But then, I would like to think that I am an investor, not a day, or week, or month trader.
(Sir) Lunchalot Caveat: Lunchalot is no investment adviser and you should seek advice from a licensed investment adviser before committing any money to such highly speculative stocks as RRS.
Lunchalot owns heaps of RRS and has no intention of cutting and running in a rising energy market.
