An excellent and mostly factual response. Thanks.

We did just that. We looked at the revenue profile that 1PG laid out for the sourcing engine and what we conclude is as follows (and if you call one of the hundreds of Amazon hiring managers in their many, many business units and ask these questions, you'll come up with the same thing).

1 - Approx 120k direct employees worldwide (anyone close to Amazon will understand completely the blue badge vs white badge thing).

2 - Approx 50k are FCA (fulfilment centre associates). These people have NO online access in a warehouse whatsoever. None. Zilch. Nada. So no referral program here folks

3 - Of the 70k remaining almost 20k are contracted non business critical functions. Warehouse heating engineers. Shelf restraint specialists. Etc. Etc. Low cost low labour. Mainly blue and orange collar. A lot of these come via contract hire. So cant see them being part of a referral platform

4 - Of the 50k remaining lets be immensely charitable and say every one of these are capable of being referred. So lets include the CEO, the CFO, the top thousand managers etc etc etc.

4 -But they already have a referral program. So not all will be cut over to 1PG

5 - And the linked in guys aren't sitting on their hands. Looking at the linked in amazon referrals just online there seems to be quite a lot out there already.

So - what will this Amazon deal be worth? And its been 4 months since announcement - so what will the earnings of this monster deal be worth by the end of the year?

Dont this this is question bs at all.
