Hezbollah can ground the Israeli airforce and the war would be vastly different and devastating for Israel. I would expect the loss of territory as well to Hezbollah which is kind of happened already with 43 towns evacuated in the North.
The Israeli right is pushing for it and it make sense for Netanyahu or a Netanyahu replacement for political readons. They have to bring the United States, UK and Australia into it and get these countries to put troops on the ground.
