HFR CHART, page-16

Charts schmarts! "Head and Shoulders"...."Cup and Handle"..."Golden Cross"...all sound like London pubs to me.
No disrespect meant Chair (& as you say, it says stuff about me rather than the ancient and honorable charting profession) but I find it difficult to relate to charts other than to be amused by their adherents' depth of belief in their relevance.
Alan Kohler's frequent refrainment when explaining the meaning of many of his graphs is "I've got no idea!"..Spot on Alan.
People love numbers...esp the more academic among us...remember the Sydney professor who proclaimed a couple of years ago the upcoming drop in house prices...he actually sold his house in anticipation...remember the academic climatologist who, also a couple of years ago, predicted no more rain for Sydney. Why?...Because the charts said so.
Super Funds, Horse-racing form guides, Federal Treasurers, Reserve Bank Boards, Covid Commentators, etc, don't seem to have fared too well either not-withstanding umpteen charts and chartists guiding them.
Fezza's right...we need NEWS (and ACTION) not charts.
My long suffering partner distills HFR down to "a money sinkhole within a "mining" tenement delineated by 4 star droppers somewhere in OutBack Spain" I think she is a bit harsh...I'm sure that HFR has more than just 4 star droppers protecting our claim.
Anyway, all this arguing over numbers and charts is just a side-show....There are still a few Wednesdays this side of 2022 so expect a good NEWS announcement to blow the charts away with a 100 SP by year end and then (according to my chart...sorry, retract that chart reference) trajectorying to 200 by end of Q1 2022.
