Still hanging in alright.
Coming up to my 11th anniversary of my first purchase of HGO shares. $0.12 a pop back in March 2013. I guess after the 8:1 consolidation that would put a cost base on them of $0.96. With my additional purchases since then if we ever get back to that price I might be able to afford something other than Aldi "wallop".
Haven't called into Hillgrove for some time. I must get around to fossicking for some of that gold my grandfather maintained was still waiting there to be stumbled upon.
Although, at risk of being a Jonah, things appear to be finally looking bright with HGO so I might save myself the hard labour and wait for the returns to start coming in from my long held investment.
I never considered Red River shares, thankfully. They concentrated on antimony I think, didn't they?
I had a lump of Hillgrove antimony in my rock collection as a kid. Before realising the health risks, I fondled it quite often (the antimony), didn't seem to do any harm luckily.
