We do have dark clouds on the horizon with the management of our economy. In simple terms the sums don't add up when you spend more and destroy the prospects of your future income. I know this is all done in the name of ideology, but you would think that they would twig to the reality that the main source of income in this country is from Royalties and the Taxes paid by the Mining and Gas companies.

I love the Cartoon where Bowen and Albo are having a cosy chat under candlelight, congratulating themselves for their great achievements. Bowen, holding the candle and with a big grin on his face, says to Albo "Guess what they used before these". Albo scratches his head and makes all sorts of intelligent thinking gestures before giving up. "Ok , I give up". Bowen, hardly able to contain his excitement says "ELECTRICITY". They both collapse with raucous laughter.
So prophetic but sadly true.

The one silver lining is that the lower the AUD the better for HGO - pretty sad, but reality.
