But as I said if/when it does occur the form it takes obviously will have a bearing as to what course of action both Companies and their shareholders will choose to do. Bear in mind I chose to sell all the one's I've mentioned on market once the offers had been announced for a substantial premium to what they were trading at. (SXP RPM PES SHG)
I didn't see the sense in holding stock in SXP for instance when I could get 70 cents and be able to put that money elsewhere. On all bar one and part of another I was eligible for the over 12 month tax ruling.
