If you go to HH's web site, and view their investment strategy, (key points below);

The Hunter Hall Funds invest in quality growth stocks at prices that are substantially less than Hunter Halls assessment of their intrinsic value...

The are two major components of the value growth investment methodology:

* identify quality stocks with good long term groth potential, and
* buy stocks at prices that are substantially less than their intrinsic value.

This methodolology is based on the view that:

* every stock has an intrinsic value which is roughly equal to the net present value of its future cashflows,
* over time share prices tend to move towards intrinsic value, and
* holding stocks for the long term allows for the compounding of returns and does not realise taxable gains."


Clearly, HH are of the opinion that PVE will not move back towards it's intrinsic value, and have lost any remaining faith into a real PVE recovery.

And that PVE no longer meets their own investment strategy... which would be similar to most of us here, (buy in when oversold, hold, sell on recovery).

This begs some questions;

What did they know that we suckers don't?

Why did they not hit the alarm bells and sell off earlier?
ie; on the $1.20 > 80c fall?

Why sit on it all the way down to 30c?

If they honestly believed this stock would recover, then wouldn't you weather the storm, and just hang on?
