Dude, you arent that stupid. IF the price went up 100% BECAUSE funds they thought BMX was going into the ASX300, it would go back to 14c when it didnt.
Plus most funds DONT buy on specualtion that something will go into the ASX300, some do yes. The SP will go up DRAMATICALLY WHEN it goes into the ASX300 because of the number of funds that mirror the wieghting of the ASX300, these funds WILL buy AFTER it has gone in. BMX has gone from 14c to 28c becuase it is a great compnay that is well run and on the verge of starting production at a plant that is on schedule and on budget.
By the way, I never said it was far fetched that it would go in, you kept stating it as fact, I questioned why. To say 'when it goes into the ASX300 next year' is ramping the stock. Plain and simple. To say 'I think it will be in the ASX300', is stating your opinion. There is a suble but big difference.
