I received a reply from the company with regard to my questions, including the one about the large contract lost from 2004 to 2005. The email included a CONFIDENTIAL message, so I don't think I should share it. The answers seemed reasonable. I followed up with one question for more info about who is paying the money for the Chinese distr and their degree of distribution experience, and haven't yet received a reply.
