Gold may be a safe haven, but gold equities certainly aren't, they behave like other equities in times of crisis.

Gold stocks will recover with the rest of the market, disasters aren't great for the POG but the expectation of them is.

Once we have full stock of the japan situation I would expect to see gold well supported with the fear of global stagflation on investors minds.
