"In a recent market update, management indicated that commissioning is ~90%
complete, with the plant producing ~9,000oz/month since mid February. AXM is now focused on consolidating recent improvements to production rates and recoveries which should see production stabilse at ~10,000oz/month (120koz pa) over the coming weeks."
Apex's comment is:
"Gold produced represents gold entering the cyanide leach (CIL) circuit of the plant after the flotation and biological oxidation circuits."
The reason why it's wrong is the massive amount of storage of concentrate in a plant like theirs PRIOR TO THE LEACH. Essentially they are taking concentrate produced in say December or January and passing it off as February's production. It's wrong, wrong, wrong. And the big question is what will happen when the storage runs out?
