My viws in relation to hicks would not change regardless what he did or did not do or was accused of doing
and early post I made
The point being Alan that the usual narrow minded crowd are using the line that because the 9/11 victims did not recieve any form of justice or rights then neither should Hicks
Which is a brain dead moronic arguement lots of people do not recieve justice or any rights like the Iraqi families bomded by the US, the 9/11 vicitms or just about any other victim of crime
This does not mean the justice system should be thrown out the window.
We had a case here in Perth about 18 months ago, a young girl was raped and murdered in the public toilets of a shopping centre.
The scum who committed the crime was caught a short time after and there was very substaintial evidence he did it.
These poor little girl had no rights or justice but the scum bag who raped and killed her was and rightly so entitled to the proper process of the law and courts system.
and now fortunately is rotting in jail.
If you are going to start a process of removing someone rights to justice on the basis of what they are alleged to have done, at what point is this going to go and who makes that decision.
