How even in your reality void little world can you conclude a trial to be fair if the accused is not even given the opportunity to question the evidence against him????????

Also bearing in mind there is not even a hint as far as I know that Hicks is anything more tahn a low ranked foot soldier and now where near a terrorist master mind


And do not come out witht he different world since Sep 11 cr@p.

As I stated there is an arguement that the likes of Hicks should not be afforded the same rights as they would be entitled to under the criminal justice system.

BUT

They are entitled to a FAIR trial something these so called military tribunals are not and the crimianl justice system seems to have worked alright for US citizens caugth in Afganistan.

AND

If a new system is going to be invented for the likes of Hicks

what about

Drug dealers and trafficers

Murders

Pedophiles

Rapists

All these criminals get a fair trial but are responsible for a large amount of human suffering

Where is the line to be drawn for the new standard.
