Why not wait until Lerhmann actually gives some evidence under oath, hopefully it will be truthful and honest but we know there are no guarantees there.
Was it a chivalrous act to abandon a woman alone after offering to share a cab with her and have her company entering Parliament House together when she was by her own testimony the drunkest she had ever been. Should Lehrman have shown a greater duty of care and why didn't he? Why did Lehrmann not find help for his work colleague, surely he could have called on security? Did Lehrmann consider how the events would have him seen the next day or did he believe the powers that be would have his back regardless and there would would be no ramifications regardless of what could be construde by others as a logical conclussion as to what transpired? Was this behavior inline with the culture of the organisation in which both were employed, ulimately is all this playing out highlight again the complete lack of guiding priciples in the organisation for which they both worked? Perhaps a good place to see the complete lack of duty of care and disregard for others in vulnerable positions and how that plays when less than admirable people have power, would be the Robodebt R.C.
