Did the worst examples of (unfit to hold office) Coalition M.P.s do such a good job of normalising really poor behavior that some have followed their lead and only aspire to that poor standard? In reality if nobody bothers trying to raise standards they will only go in one direction, down. It's a fact that was quite evident in the organisation both worked for, the standards there are a disgrace.
Again, the Robodebt R.C. would be a good place to see how the Liberal Party's toxic culture has real effects and tragic outcomes. Hell they didn't even worry about if the scheme was unlawful or not and just put all their effort into not letting that vital bit of information becoming common knowledge.
