    I agree with your first point that Bruce’s version is rubbish. The judges problem is that Britts version is fluid and her story keeps changing to suit the narrative so is therefore also rubbish. As Bruce’s SC pointed out Britt keeps changing her story as contradictory contemporaneous evidence is unearthed and it’s changed on multiple occasions.

    As I said earlier I think they are both opportunistic liars and the judge has a hell of a task sifting through the contradictory rubbish to arrive at a decision. It certainly isn’t an open and cut case of rape as there is no DNA evidence due to the amount of time Britt took to report her allegation. It’s also unusual due to the extensive efforts Britt and her new idiot boyfriend went to to maximise media coverage instead of losing a formal police report and maximise the damage to the government of the day - hardly the typical behaviour of a woman in that circumstance.
