If you've followed BRN's convoluted history, you can see that there have been many business pivots and changes along the way. BRN's strategy, even from just 5 years ago, resembles nothing like the position the company is in today. Go back further and it looks even worse.
Every twist and turn has turned out to be a commercial failure.
I suspect that is actually BRN's long term strategy: keep moving until something succeeds or breaks.
