HCL should be a solid play for US domestic manufacturing as you identified. This is contingent on HCL actually manufacturing in the US, not importing their value chain. The ceramic plates are a component of a completed body armour assembly that includes a backing component, encapsulation of the ceramic, foam, coatings, etc. They also include all the plate carriers. Where do the shells that they're selling come from? Not one piece of body armour sold by HCL has come from the XTClave in years so it has to be coming from somewhere.
