Quite right... may I just amend the comment.. EIA to DEIA (Detailed Enviromental Impact Assessment).
Lynas did an EIA which identified risks and solutions... the stink is that the antiLynas group(s) want them to now do a DEIA years after the fact because the rules have changed.
I have always said this is a fair and reasonable request, as long as EVERY other company (fishing, farming, tourism sector and manufacturing) has to go back and do an DEIA as well, and they are all made to cease any activity until they do so.
Zero chance that will happen.
