Funny you should mention Dsh....went to one of their stores here in Vic surprised to see it still open...walked away with 2 portable dvd players with 9inch screen for $89 each for both my kids. Bargain.
The guy thought that an Indian company Tata was looking to take it over and inject 200 mill revamping all the stores.
Interestingly to note Tata previous relationship with wow and where they may have previously missed out on picking up dsh, they will now pick up for a song if it goes ahead...

"The retailer will also sell its India-based wholesale business Woolworths Wholesale to an outfit called Infiniti Retail, owned by Tata Sons for $35 million.
"Woolworths has enjoyed a successful relationship with the Tatas since 2005," the company said. "In that time we have provided the retail knowledge and wholesale support that have helped them to establish and grow the Croma-branded national retail chain."
Woolworths said it and Tata had entered into the venture with plans to merge its wholesale and retail businesses once foreign direct investment regulations were relaxed.
