Eagle there is no evedience to suggest that the governments response to the so called gfc saved 100's of thousands of jobs.
Infact the evedience is that by the time any fiscal stimulas was issued unemployment had peaked and was on the way down briefly.The Australian ecomomy was wearing a bullet proof vest constructed by Howard and Costello..
Even members of the ALP have brought in to question rudds behaviour..quote:

Britian, the US and here.The leverage that the left wing conjured up over the past few years is now defunked..Not only that if we are not in recession we are a hairs breath away from it ..unemployment is rising intrest rates climb, and record numbers of buisnesses are closing there doors inspite of all the borrowed money splashed about..
the alp is already a failure , they may be waiting to pull another scam , but everyone is onto them ..so they don't have much hope do they .
