For years we were lead up the garden path, and when we got there, it was certainly no garden of roses. Merely a muddy barren clay bog with a couple of strands of copper grass - (with unreportable native copper credits of course)
But I can see it now. The share price fell, not because 2006 JORC representations turned out to be nothing but the fanciful dream of an overzealous miner but because stupid share holders decided to sell. And the company is not going to raise money at these ridiculously low prices because that is just...ridiculous and that is also the fault of the shareholders who sold.
But the fact is, if there is no plant, the company share price will fall anyway. So yes money will be raised at these ridiculously low prices, but that is nobodys fault but the stupid shareholders who sold.
Soon the victims are no longer the Mums and Dads who lost their life savings due to management representations, rather the victims will be the poor directors who failed to develop Rocklands because of the lousy selling shareholders.
Maybe you are right Geoff, maybe we will all be apologising soon enough.
