Yes...the behaviour smacked of a forced seller. There seemed no interest in the seller achieving the best/highest price.
The desperation to sell pushed the price ever lower and s/he had to take as low as 75c when Barrick Gold was ready to pay 85c 24 hours earlier.
As we speak, the market makers have reflected the lower Aussie close in their spread but, no selling interest has been shown at these levels...so far.
It would seem that ALD shareholders are committed to a higher share price on the basis that Barrick Gold sees value at higher levels.
