Even if this technology rivals ours which is not for sure, it does not make it accessible to the Indians and if the Indians want it, the price could be high and China probably/ may not want to share the tech with India. In this case The Indians will be keener then ever to have their own tech and not be left in the dark while China forges ahead.
Hopefully this technology will push our our Indian partners to get into gear and hurry up!
