True to an extent. By virtue doctors lawyers etc must have certain mental capabilities. The reason the cutoff score has ever increased is because others are willing to pay more for an education.
The whole system is stuffed basicially.
And you are right about the level of "tv" shows on. Aside from the occasional, documentary the rest is utter crap, free to air and pay tv.
Personally I prefer to listen to radio talk back, and I'm from a generation that was brought up on tv lol
