HIGH PRIORITY TARGET FOR PRIMARY SOURCE OF
PLATINUM DETERMINED
Highlights
Integrated exploration techniques have created an exploration strategy at Fifield that
is beginning to yield results.
• Auger drill programme is well progressed – 87 holes drilled to date
• 13 trenches completed and mapped, 7 bulk samples taken, Pt & Au
concentrate being collated
• Detailed mapping has been completed over an area of 1000m x 500m for
topography, old workings and geology
• Platina Lead intersected, 3g Pt nugget retrieved and substantial short
traveled Pt and Au recovered
• Soil Sampling conducted over bedrock, labeled “The Big Scrape” contains
short traveled Pt grains, no gravel present
• Ground Magnetic Survey work
• Magnetic anomaly correlates to bedrock “The Big Scrape” and coincides
with large historic working in linear trend at the top of the Platina Lead
• High priority target area now identified for thorough investigation
SUMMARY EXPLORATION DETAILS AT FIFIELD
Mr Colin Plumridge, consulting geologist, has been conducting the search for the
Primary Platinum (Pt) and Gold (Au) Mineral Source and its associated alluvial
platinum at Fifield, with is identified “Debris Flow” material. His thorough
assessment of transport distance and provenance of the alluvial platinum grades
indicates at least one source proximal – within 2 km - to the alluvial operation in our
opinion.
