Kevi, Channel iron ore deposits typically contain minor amounts of clay in discrete lenses. This would account for the high silica levels (silicon is Si and silica is Si02. I would not get too carried away with the results three holes.

However, I think this type of ore would require benefication or blending prior to shipping, not sure of the exact cut-offs I think it is 5%. The cost of these extra processes can be offset by the reduced cost of extraction as there is less overburden and no need to drill and blast.
