Higher Bid For Coca-Cola Amatil Tipped By ABN
[Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: Coca-Cola Amatil (CCL.AU) target price increased to A$10.00 from A$9.00 by ABN AMRO, "to incorporate an element of Lion Nathan's(LNN.AU) proposed bid." Analyst believes a bid valued above A$11/share will be
needed to succeed, and "while we still question its ultimate success, we are confident an increased bid will eventuate." Believes CCL will beat guidance for at least 7% EBIT growth in 2H08 due to "strong summer, which should also allow upbeat outlook commentary." CCL last up 23 cents or 2.4% at A$9.68.
