Actually I like normal law abiding people - and a society of them. I dislike locks greatly. I dislike having to lock things. I dislike having to be vigilant when I'm out. I dislike intensely knowing that if ever I did decide to go out at night that ------- as the stars come out, so does the scum of society.
However whilst I like law abidance ---------- I do NOT like bad laws.
Australia is setting itself up (has been for decades) with a huge barrel of very bad laws -------- atm, the laws that are being brought in for illegality of public assembly ------------ they are whopping bad. Removing an absolute basic pillar of democracy.
That is going to come back to bite big time.
if Oz can get one thing out of any of this is to observe - that chickens in fact do come home - and sometimes, when they do - you really want to be wearing some protection.
