Reiner, I just recieved a comprehensive research note on the Aussie gold sector including ABU prepared by Macquarie.
ABU is not rated but the write up was positive.
In the general commentary of the research report the authors stated;
“We believe that the following characteristics are key to delivering shareholder returns in the currently challenging market conditions

??Exploration success
??Low sovereign risk;
??M & A potential
??Annual production (or potential) of +100koz;
??1st & 2nd quartile all-in operational costs;
??Ability to fund expansion growth; and
??Quality management teams”

ABU would tick all of their criteria.
