    3H,

First, a scintillometer is used to measure the presence of [mainly] Xrays emanating from the ore or drill cores. There are several types, but if radioactive minerals are present, the scint will establish a "background count" for the area. Now as drill material is brought up, it too is measured to see if the radiation is stronger or weaker at depth than the surface material.

Now looking at the uranium update of 11th May, it appears that the average depth of holes was planned to be 64 m. So according to our report today, somewhere "down there" there is richer radio active material. Most encouraging, but more work needs to be done to come up with specifics. C
