SLR released a very solid December quarterly today and the share price rose from 58 cents to close at 69 cents.
62,265 ounces of gold were sold in the quarterly at an average price of A$1371.
Gold is currently around A$1432. At just this price SLR receive an extra $3.8 million cash in a quarter, or annualised $15.2 million in a year.
At A$1500 SLR receive an extra $8 million cash in a quarter, or annualised $32 million in a year.
At A$1600 SLR receive an extra $14.25 million cash in a quarter, or annualised $57 million in a year.
At A$2000 SLR receive an extra $39.16 million cash in a quarter, or annualised $156.6 million in a year.
With a current market cap of just $250 million it becomes apparent how highly leveraged SLR is to a rising gold price.
This also does not take into account any of the huge exploration upside that SLR currently has.
