"Un-taper" is the new buzz word now.

Talk last night that the recent falls caused by Dec's $10B taper and US economy might not be able to sustain growth without continued QE support from the Fed Reserve especially in light of perceived slow-down in China.

No-one can yet predict the outcome of course but several commentators agreed that 2013 growth was largely built on artificial expectations of $85B/month being injected into the economy.

Positive for POG and SLR if they decide QE has to continue as fretting about tapering QE for most of 2013 was what helped smash the gold price and producers.

As an aside, all the pundits state that inflation is benign (I beg to differ) but if it ever raises it's head again POG could really fly IMHO.
