It's irrelevant if one is in for the short or long term, what is relevant is the corporate governance of a publicly listed company and the obligations a director has to its shareholders. A simple phone call would have revealed the the samples were not in the lab at 9am on Tuesday and this was not communicated until 12pm Wednedsay. The issue is trust.
