If I am going to buy stock at the current level and don't have an order in the cue I will usually place a 'at market' order rather than at a specific price. And probably half the time I get the half a pip reward.

If my broker can do a cross trade (CX or a CXXT) trade it makes everyone happy. When the same broker has both buy and sell orders rather than putting them through the exchange they split the difference and process the Order in house. Both buyer and seller get a slightly better deal, both pay brokerage and the broker doesn't have to put through exchange. Everyone wins.
