Hey guys, not quite sure where this 70,000 hectares topic has come from, but its clearly listed in the announcements that that is the size of the tenement applied for.
Sounds like a large amount of land, and I thought I would try and put it in some sizing perspective.
70,000 hectares = 172,973 acres.
A soccer pitch is 1.76 acres.
172,973 divided by 1.76 = 98,280 Soccer fields of land applied for.
Whichever way you look at it, its huge. Lets just hope it contains the lithium we're after.
A very long way to go, but if this comes through, it will be massive.
(I hope my calculations were correct! lol)
