Correct, ignoring that a majority of parliament disagrees with the govt and the govt appears to have lost its control of the House and therefore should consider a visit to the Governor General to call an election or to allow the GG to determine whether anyone else has the confidence of the parliament to govern pending the election. If the GG were to hand the reins to Labor with cross bench support imo Labor would immediately call an election so it can receive the peoples mandate as to who should govern.
