I am unable to draw any conclusion other than that every major decision concerning Australia's governance is made overseas.
I am sure that every politician gets the midnight phone call, describing their children's fate if they don't do as they're told.
If Scomo wants to win the next election, all he needs to do is open a refugee resettlement centre in Rose Bay in Sydney, Toorak in Melbourne and somewhere in downtown Canberra. Unfortunately, Scomo is probably well bought and paid for.
As long as the TV and internet are running, most people don't care.
